The Sail @ Marina Bay
Singapore

Provided basic structural design concept for developers of this residential complex consisting of a 70-storey and a 63-storey tower framed with precast composite floor slabs supported by coupled shear walls and columns.  The structures are designed to meet UBC 1997 seismic zone 2A criteria.  Selected components will be precast and all connections are designed to develop full continuity and monolithic action.

This design-build project was put out for tender in 2004.  Tender results came in below budget and within construction time.

Construction began in 2005.

Savannah Park
Singapore

A residential complex consisting of eighteen 10-storey towers totaling 648 units designed with composite precast floor slabs and precast wall elements. Construction completed 2005.

In early 2006, this development was awarded the highest Construction Quality Assessment Score (CONQUAS) of 94.1% ever given by the Building and Construction Authority of Singapore for an construction project so far.

Regency at Hualalai Namakua
Kona, Hawaii

4- and 5-story precast concrete structures designed for seismic Zone 4 on the slopes of Mauna Loa, an active volcano and highly seismic area. All wall panels, beams, columns, slab soffits, and balcony slabs were constructed of precast concrete and tied together with an in-situ reinforced concrete topping to integrate all precast elements into a monolithic structural frame.

Honolulu, Hawaii

A 33-story, high-rise condominium. The building structural system consists of precast, prestressed composite concrete floor slabs supported by in situ beams, bearing walls and columns. Precast concrete walls and balcony slabs were also utilized in the construction of the exterior facade.

A 14-story building with a floor system consisting of precast, prestressed joists and in situ slabs spanning up to 12.8 meters.

Dr. Yee assisted in the initiation of a major program involving industrialized high-rise building construction. This program focused on the introduction of construction systems utilizing mass-produced prefabricated concrete components to improve quality and accelerate speed of housing construction in Singapore.
