Mr. Benbo Zhou joined Yee Precast Design Group Ltd. in 1995. As Vice President and Director of Engineering, Mr. Zhou oversees all projects for both our Honolulu office and our Singapore office, Precast Design Consultants Pte. Ltd.

Mr. Zhou brings to the firm solid expertise in structural analysis, 3-D modeling, and structural design of building structures utilizing precast/prestressed concrete, reinforced concrete, steel, masonry, or timber construction. He is also experienced with renovations and seismic retrofit of existing buildings and bridges. Mr. Zhou has been involved in all aspects of projects including conceptual design, preparation of construction documents, coordination with other disciplines, review of shop drawings, and construction field inspections.

Mr. Zhou received his Bachelor of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering at Tongji University in Shanghai, China and his Master of Engineering in Structural Engineering at Old Dominion University in Virginia. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Hawaii and the State of California.

• Structural design and construction administration services for a 129-unit assisted living community project
• Structures were designed to meet UBC 1997 seismic zone 4 criteria and successfully withstood a powerful earthquake of the Richter scale magnitude 7.6 in 2005 with no reported damage
