140 prestressed concrete bridges covering nearly 4 miles in total, involving some 550 spans in the reconstruction and realignment of the Mt. Isa railway for the Government of Queensland in Australia. |

Remote locations inaccessible to workers, supplies, infrastructure. |
Solution: |
Use of standardized precast, prestressed concrete members with span lengths of 31 ft. and 45 ft. and depths of 27 inches and 36 inches, respectively, that were manufactured and used throughout the entire project. |
