Challenge: |
Architectural design called for slender high-rise buildings with small annex blocks attached to the main building with only a walkway. |
Solution: |
Dimensions were standardized and structural framing was broken into modules to minimize types of precast elements. Precast elements were dimensioned to fit into standard room modules so that the concept could be repeated elsewhere. Completed in 2000.
