Challenge:

Fast track design and construction approach – interim facility to be sold after new head office building completed.

Solution:

Prestressed, precast concrete beams, slab soffits, and precast multi-story columns connected by Alfred A. Yee’s patented Splice Sleeves were used. Engineering assistance for on-site precasting, prestressing facilities also provided.

Results:

The use of prestressed precast concrete allowed the use of indigenous materials and locally available labor, as well as speedy construction.
